Maybe you remember my smoothie fail? Well, I finally got up the courage (i.e. craving) to try my new blender again after browsing through some delicious and healthy smoothie recipes at Skinny Taste. I started with this banana smoothie (I halved the recipe) - super easy and tasted like a banana milkshake! They're great for making a quick breakfast on the go. :)
I gave some to the bf and he drank it down, FAST! He didn't even know it was "Healthified!" :)
Healthy Banana Smoothie
Makes 2 servings
- 1 6 oz light and fit (or other low fat version) vanilla yogurt, frozen
- 1 banana
- 2 cups skim milk
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Since the yogurt is frozen, you don't need ice. Experiment with other yogurt flavors too!
Also, if you're going to make single servings, its a lot easier to divide up the yogurts BEFORE you freeze them. I learned this the hard way... :)

ReplyDeleteIt's seriously SO GOOD! :) It would be really good with strawberries too or with a strawberry yogurt... I have a chocolatey version waiting to be posted later this week!
